: Where is Williamsville? U.K? USA? Canada?: Searching for someone to strike up some dialog regarding these facinating arthropods. Been working the Williamsville waterlime for about 6 years now. There are plenty of people who want to talk about selling these sea scorpions. Is there anyone who wants to share info? If you know how I can send pics on this forum, I'd be glad to do that. Other Silurian material could be shared too. What do you say?

Williamsville is a world famous site in upstate New York where eurypterids are found in abundance. There are quarries there with strata of Silurian age. Eurypterus remipes and Eurypterus lacustrus are the two most common species reported. I'm not sure whether Pterygotus sp. has been reported from there or not.
