HAVE FOSSILS FOR TRADING?:  Online Fossil Trade Show  opened on March 8, 2004. Trade fossils with fellow collectors!

Posted by Steve Goins on January 06, 1999 at 00:37:47: I am trying to evaluate and identify the plate in the picture. The crystalization looks to be quartz. The piece has been in a private collection in florida for the past 18 years. On the box is written "Fossilized Dragon Fly Salton Sea Ca. (Smithsonian Exhed- Mr. Moore" I am trying to insure the piece to be secure in taking to tucson to display in the event it is of substantial value. Any info or advice would greatly be appreciated.
