They're rare wherever you're collecting. But on the east coast they make up a considerably smaller percentage in comparison with meg teeth.
There was however, an associated set (something like 115 teeth) found in the Lee Creek mine in NC a couple of years ago. I know they were studied by the Smithsonian, but don't know if they're still there or at the Aurora Phosphate Museum in NC.
