: about a year ago i received some "mistery fossils" and only recently came to the conclusion that they are some variety of the very ancient group known as ARCHAEOCYATHIDS
: my question is--- does anyone know of some other PUBLISHED info on this group? i have over 100 of these lovely, well preserved specimens, and would like to know much more about them.

You can find this treatise voume for $31.25 from the GSA at:

Another classic on this group is "North American Pleospongia" by V.K. Okulitch, GSA Special Paper 48
It's not common but can still be found.
