Shark teeth and bones found
Last week found these shark teeth and bone pieces fossils at the Scotts Valley site. It took me the whole day to find them cause it was my first time doing this. The trick is to look in the slight orange bands that are a couple of feet below the surface. Loaded my small screen more than 50 times! Great work-out but I need it anyways. When I found my first tooth wow!! I couldn't believe my eyes. Also, found a bone piece that has some scratches that - as I am told - could have been made by the sharks while eating the animal (that bone is at the left of the image). Thanks much fort the documentation you mail me. It was worth it. Had a great time and will go again there again for sure. Carol PS. Also, thank you for letting me use your server to post
my fossils here. Will take more close-up photos and e-mail you them. |
