: do not keep any fossils found in the White-Inyo Mountains Paleozoic complex. Can one still "hunt" for fossils in National Forest Land with the goal of notifying proper authorities of any find? WHAT IS THE PROPER MECHANISM TO FOLLOW BY AMATEUR PALEONTOLOGISTS IN NATIONAL FOREST LAND? If there is none, then looks to me that the BLM has designed rules that make more sense.
