Thanks Very Much : Marion that IS a very interesting puzzle,Marion. from the photo, i just cant seem to place an ID on it. my kneejerk reaction was that this was not a fossil but a hot springs evaporation growth, however, my eye, for some reason,is drawn to the two rows of three triangles each, in the center of the piece i think these MAY be a clue. another clue would be other associated fossils.??? IT`s NEAT!
