The one thing that hasn't been mentioned that might tell you a lot more about your find... a geologic map! You mention large rock outcroppings and a spring where you found the piece... : I live about 1/2 hour from Brekley.I agree I think it's worth checking out. My father is a old miner and I have been around rocks 54 years now and I knew this one was a keeper.
