: : After seen the image, it seems to be a cycadeoid! I was comparing in my data base and it resembles to Cycadeoidea marylandica (Fontaine). A 150 million year old cycadeoid trunk from cretaceous of prince george county, maryland. The image I am enclosing was taken from the collection of the National Museum of Natural History of the Smithsoinian Institution.
