I showed the pic to a professor friend of mine. It's not the greatest of photos, but he doubts it;s an anomalocaris. I would be very interested in knowing who identified this specimen as anomalocaris. It is found in the Marble Mountains, but there have only ever been 2 (I think...maybe even just 1) anomalocaris ever found, to my knowledge. Both were from Burgess. There was an "anomalocaris" being sold a few years back from Utah, but it was most likely a sea cucumber...very rare nonetheless, but not an anomalocaris. I trust the friend who is i.d.'ing these...he's about the number 2 or 3 trilo guy in the world. This would be great if it was an anomalocaris....I'd really love to know how the identification was arrived at. As well, if it is, I have a lot of material I would be interested in trading for it!
